Reproduction:

The flea goes through four stages of development: Egg, larva, pupa, finished insect.

Way of life:

The larva is no larger than the adult insect. It feeds on dried blood and organic substances that it finds at the site of infestation.

Whole insect feeds on the blood of infested dogs and cats, sometimes also bites humans.

Can jump over 15 cm and thus moves from host to host. Also lives on lawns in front gardens.

Fleas disturb the well-being, cause itching, redness, hair loss, severe skin infections and allergic reactions to their saliva.
