Appearance:

The 15 mm woodlouse has 7 pairs of legs on its chest and 6 pairs of false legs on its abdomen.

Reproduction:

The female carries the eggs on the underside of her body until the young hatch.

Way of life:

The woodlouse reproduces in damp environments, preferably in rotting woodwork or organic waste. It also feels at home under stones and slabs and can live for up to 2 years. It lives mainly in buildings that are either dry or flooded.
