Reproduction:

The yellow-necked mouse mates from March to October. With a gestation period of around 25 days and a weaning period of 18 days, the yellow-necked mouse is considered a rapid developer. Sexual maturity occurs at 2-4 months. The average lifespan is 12 months.

Way of life:

The yellow-necked mouse is known as a cable eater and eats a lot of food. In rural areas, they live in hedgerows and deciduous forests, where they quickly find their way into buildings and can cause enormous damage.
